Week 3- The Fruit of the Spirit- "PEACE"

Scripture~
Galatians 5:22 (NIV)  "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

Devotional ~
Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of God in the midst of it. True peace is not something we can manufacture — it is a fruit the Spirit grows in us.

Jesus said, “My peace I give you. Not as the world gives…” (John 14:27). The world’s peace is fragile, easily broken by bad news or unexpected storms. But the Spirit’s peace anchors us when life feels uncertain.

We must have peace, because it guards our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Peace reminds us we don’t have to carry the weight of everything — God is in control. Peace is proof that our faith is resting in His sovereignty.

When we let peace rule our hearts, we stop reacting out of fear and start responding out of trust. We stop fighting battles in our own strength and start resting in the victory Christ has already secured.

Self Examination Question~
Have I truly been walking day to day with peace as my portion, which it is; or have I let disruptions and confusion frame my daily mindset to walk in?

Prayer~

Lord, thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding. When my heart is troubled, remind me to rest in Your promises. Let Your peace guard me, guide me, and flow through me, so others may see the calm only You can give. Amen.
