Devotional~

Intentionality begins with an awakening—but it does not end there. It becomes a way of living.

 

Over these weeks, God has shown us that intentionality is not about perfection. It is about posture. It is the daily decision to live awake instead of unaware, obedient instead of hesitant, surrendered instead of controlling, guarded instead of open to everything, and anchored instead of easily moved.

 

Intentionality is the refusal to drift.

 

It is the quiet, steady choice to align your heart with God—even when no one else sees the wrestle it took to get there.

 

There were places where God asked you to slow down.

Places where He asked you to release.

Places where He asked you to guard your heart.

Places where He asked you to obey.

 

And through it all, He was not trying to restrict you—He was teaching you to live aligned.

 

Because a life lived on purpose does not happen by accident.

 

It happens when you begin to realize that your time is sacred. Your heart is valuable. Your obedience matters. Your life carries weight in the Kingdom.

 

Intentionality is how we say, “Yes, Lord,” not just once—but daily.

 

It is how we move from emotional living to Spirit-led living.

 

It is how we become trustworthy with what God has placed in us.

 

And even now, this is only the beginning.

 

Because intentionality is not a season. It is a lifestyle.

 

As you move forward, there will be moments when it would be easier to drift. Easier to react. Easier to return to old patterns.

 

But something in you has changed.

 

You are aware now.

 

You are listening now.

 

You are aligned now.

 

And God will faithfully direct the steps of a heart that has chosen to live on purpose.

 

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for teaching me how to live intentionally. Thank You for revealing my heart, correcting my steps, and aligning my life with Your will.

 

Help me to carry this forward—not as something I learned, but as someone I am becoming. Let my life reflect deliberate obedience and surrendered trust.

 

I choose to live awake.

I choose to live aligned.

I choose to live anchored in You.

 

Direct my steps as I follow You.
