Heavenly Father,

 

Today we come before You laying down every weight we were never meant to carry. Your Word tells us to cast our cares upon You, so today we release it all into Your hands.

 

We release the distractions that try to pull our focus away from Your voice.

We release the hurt that lingers in our hearts.

We release the pain from what didn’t go the way we hoped or expected.

We release the burdens that have tried to slow our steps.

 

Lord, we refuse to carry what You have already given us permission to lay down.

 

Cleanse our hearts.

Renew our minds.

Strengthen our spirits.

 

Remove every weight that is not assigned to our destiny. Silence every distraction that attempts to derail our purpose. Heal every place in us that still remembers the pain.

 

Today we step forward in faith.

 

Use our lives for Your glory.

Turn every trial into oil, every tear into testimony, and every battle into victory.
