Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee
What is your mindset and posture when storms arise in your life?
One thing I have come to realize, is that storms are coming and no one is exempt from the storms life brings us.
Some examples of storms can be sickness, loss, grief, financial hardships, trauma, persecution, marriage or relationship issues, family disputes, the list goes on and on…
I’m sure you can name some you’ve encountered or even add to the list.
In today’s scripture, the Prophet Isaiah reminds us how our mindset should be while we may encounter a storm.
Of course, we won’t feel peace is there, but we must strive and focus our mind to know, trust, and have faith and press in God‘s presence where peace resides.
God is peace, and when we continue to study God’s word, press to him in worship, press to him despite our storms…peace will eventually find us.
Why will peace eventually find us?
Because trouble will not last always…our posture will command our situation to change when we press into God despite what the enemy may have been allowed to try to set us back or take us out of our peaceful place in God.
Our mind must be stayed on God, we must trust in him while he takes us through each and every process God takes through!
We must cast down every imagination and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and tries to tell us differently than what we know about God.
If you feel like peace is far from you…just press into HIM…
Remember, it may be raining right now…it may look ugly and you can’t see your way…but after the storm the sun will shine again.
Keep your mind stayed on the promises God has given us in his Holy Word. Trust God the more and watch your situation and the grey clouds begin to clear out and the sun begin to peak through!
Peace is for you today and forever more!
Love you with the Love of Christ!
