Faith Friday: Mountaintop Vs. Valley Experiences

Just some Friday Encouragement for us all

After every mountaintop  experience, there is a valley.

The mountaintop may be where you celebrate, but the valley is where your character, faith, and endurance are tested.

Don’t lose heart when the scenery changes. The same God who met you on the mountain is walking with you through the valley.

The valley is where your faith is proven, your character is developed, and your strength is built.

How you walk through the valley is vital.

The enemy wants you to feel defeated, discouraged, and abandoned in the valley, but make the enemy a liar. Refuse to give up. Refuse to throw in the towel. Refuse to let your circumstances speak louder than God’s promises.

The valley is not punishment, 
many times it’s preparation. The valley is not your destination…it’s a part of the journey. It’s where God teaches dependence, produces endurance, and develops a deeper trust in Him.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me…” 
Psalm 23:4
