“Obedience that costs you is still obedience that positions you for growth, maturity, and spiritual alignment.”

 

Sometimes obedience will cost you something.

 

It may cost you comfort.

It may cost you convenience.

It may cost you a relationship, a preference, or the ability to control how things turn out.

 

But just because obedience is uncomfortable doesn’t mean it isn’t God.

 

There are some places God is trying to take us that require us to surrender before we can align.

 

And that’s where Week 4 meets Week 3:

 

“God does not call us to perfection—He calls us to alignment.”

 

Ladies, God is not asking us to get everything right. He is asking us to get into agreement with Him.

 

Sometimes alignment looks like saying yes when your flesh wants to say no.

 

Sometimes it looks like releasing control.

 

Sometimes it looks like trusting God’s timing.

 

Sometimes it means choosing His will over your own preference.

 

And sometimes the very thing you are struggling to surrender is the thing standing between where you are and where God is trying to take you.

 

You don’t have to be perfect.

You have to be willing.

You have to be intentional.

You have to stay aligned.

 

Faith Friday Reminder:

 

What is God asking you to obey?

What are you still trying to control?

Where is He calling you into greater alignment?

 

Take it to God today. Surrender it. Obey Him. Trust Him.
