The Call to Be Intentional
Scripture~
“Quench not the Spirit.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:19
There is a danger in thinking revival is self-sustaining.
What we experienced during the fast—the weight of His presence, the clarity, the breaking, the oil that flowed...that was not accidental. But here’s the truth, what God initiates, we must steward.
The Spirit doesn’t leave us, but we can become less aware, less sensitive, less yielded. Not because God changed, but because we did.
Revival fades when intentionality fades.
Being intentional means you refuse to go back to casual. You refuse to handle holy things in a common way. You make a decision: “What God did in me, I will protect it.”
This series is not about striving, it’s about stewardship.
Key Thought~
You don’t maintain revival by accident, you maintain it on purpose.
Reflection~
Have I become passive about something God called me to protect?
Prayer~
Lord, awaken a discipline in me to guard what You’ve placed inside of me. Let me not mishandle Your presence.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
