Scripture~

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

There are seasons in life that can feel draining.

Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because you’re pouring out in so many directions—family, ministry, work, responsibilities, and the quiet burdens you carry that no one else sees. If you’re not careful, those seasons can leave you feeling spiritually dry.

And dryness has a way of changing how we see things.

It can make you feel like you’re not growing.

Like God is distant.

Like what you’re doing isn’t making a difference.

But dryness does not mean God has stopped supplying.

Sometimes it simply means you’ve been pouring—and it’s time to be refilled.

God never intended for you to live off yesterday’s strength. His grace is not a one-time supply. It is daily. Ongoing. Sufficient for whatever you are facing right now.

The key is not to keep pushing until you’re empty.

The key is to stay connected to the source.

Even in your weakness, even in your tired moments, God’s strength shows up. Not to shame you for feeling drained, but to sustain you through it.

You don’t have to prove how strong you are.

You just have to remain in Him.

Today is your reminder to pause. To sit in His presence. To allow Him to pour back into you what life has pulled out.

You are still growing.

You are still being sustained.

And you are not running on empty when you stay connected to the One who fills you.

Reflection~

Where have you been feeling drained lately? Have you been trying to push through in your own strength instead of allowing God to refill you?

Prayer~

Lord, thank You for being my source. When I feel weak and drained, remind me that Your grace is still sufficient for me. Help me to pause, rest in Your presence, and receive the strength that only You can give. Refill me where I have been poured out. In Jesus’ name, amen.
